Commission for Investigations and Gathering Evidence (CIGE), established by the Kurdistan Regional Government in northern Iraq in response to grievous abuses perpetrated by Daesh / Islamic State (Dohuk and Zhako, Kurdistan / northern Iraq). o Built a research method for consulting survivors of sexualised enslavement on measures of reparation proposed by the Iraq parliament. The method was crafted around reflective listening and the aims of ensuring the consultation process is dignifying for victims and the commission’s recommendations are based on what victims themselves have voiced.
