Activity: Talk or presentationOral presentation

Description

Questions and answers around the fauna of the deep seas. Jose Lopez is a Professor in the Dept. of Biological Sciences at Nova Southeastern University. Lopez had a distinguished research career studying marine invertebrates. He founded and directed the Global Invertebrate Genome Alliance (GIGA) an international consortium established to facilitate whole genome sequence annotation and analyses of the fascinating world of marine invertebrates from corals to sponges to seahorses to sea slugs. His research and perspective cover the development and conservations course of evolution’s most charismatic creations. Learn the mysteries of hidden biota of the sea from his lecture.
