sciences since Aristotle through Darwin with emphasis on both the experimental design of seminal studies
as well as the evolving philosophical approaches to the acquisition of knowledge from methodological
naturalism to critical rationalism, Karl Popper and the hypothetico-deductive model for scientific method.
