About

Dr. Gabriela Mendez is an Associate Program Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and School Administration in the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education at Nova Southeastern University (NSU).  In 2007 Gabriela joined NSU at the regional campus in West Palm Beach. Dr. Mendez is a dissertation chair and teaches classes in the doctoral level, such as assessment centered curriculum design and professional development. At the master’s level, she teaches standards based curriculum development. Dr. Mendez is a member of Curricular Committees and participates in several program development initiatives.  She is also a member of several online professional learning communities in which she works collaboratively with her colleagues to improve online teaching and design.
