About

My research interests focus on the role of elasmobranchs (sharks and rays) in marine ecosystems. Understanding how these conspicuous top and meso-predators influence ecosystem dynamics is crucial for the proper management of marine ecosystems, especially considering that many elasmobranch populations are in decline. Examining the ecological role of elasmobranchs requires studying a variety of aspects of elasmobranch biology. Specifically, my work includes studies of elasmobranch movements, habitat use, and foraging ecology.
