Personal profile

About

I have been a faculty member of the Department of Chemistry and Physics of the Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography since 2005. I first started as a visiting professor, and since 2006 as a full time professor. Currently, I am an Associate Professor of Chemistry.

After almost 10 years at NSU, the goal to inspire, educate, and learn from my students has remained the core of all my accomplishments. I believe that during this time I have been a positive influence and a mentor to all my students, many of whom have move on to thrive in graduate school or in other activities. Additionally, my strong commitment to service and research not only has provided me with many gratifying achievements, but also has allowed me to foster a strong connection to many of my colleagues and students.
