About

Soledad Argüelles-Borge, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical and School Psychology at NSU's College of Psychology. She has been taught a variety of research courses at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. Dr. Argüelles-Borge has consulted with many dissertations, especially in the area of ​​methodology. In addition, it has facilitated a number of workshops, both live and online, related to research methods, specifically, literature reviews, research designs, ethics and feasibility of research projects. Not only has it been taught in various ways, but also in language and countries.

Dr. Argüelles-Borge teaches both in French and Spanish, and has international expertise in NSU has had a presence (Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Jamaica), and in a good number of states, Florida. Before coming to NSU, Dr. Argüelles-Borge was an assistant professor of research at the University of Miami School of Medicine's Psychiatry Department. While at UM, she had both clinical and research duties. Her clinical duties include both neuropsychological assessments for Alzheimer's disease patients, and family therapy with their families. Additionally, she conducted an individual and group therapy to patients with an HIV diagnosis.
