Tais Barreto

Dr. Tais Barreto is an Associate Professor of Management at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. Tais has a Ph.D. in Management with an emphasis in Strategy and Cross-Cultural Management from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to joining NSU, Tais has gained experience in a variety of areas in both large and growing companies. Over the years, Tais has handled procurement, sourcing, and international trade, including setup of foreign subsidiaries and negotiations with partners. Moreover, she has managed and implemented motivational strategies for diverse work teams.

Tais’ research interests include how organizations learn to engage in interfirm relationships and how culture influences business practices. Her research has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior and the Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology.
