Climate change and Indigenous knowledge: Learning from a different view

Abstract

The presentation explores the differences between Western Science and Traditional Knowledge. A case study illustrates how indigenous peoples constantly track changes in their surrounding environment by making comparisons between historic and present events. Understanding Indigenous Peoples view can help us to adopt resilient strategies for climate change.
