Abstract

Everyone encounters changes, uncertainty and risks as part of growing up. Worries about children’s future continues to give precedence to the search for answers to practices and approaches that will effectively respond to the realities and complexities of times. In this direction, every day and every moment are an opportunity to instill in children, families and communities a sense about the ability that lives within to overcome challenges. Nonetheless, resilience is a means of empowering and promoting a good quality of life in early childhood, at present and in the future to come. This chapter underlines and brings together examples from research, practice and theory by setting the ground for future explorations and implications in the fields of resilience and wellbeing.
