    Abstract

Propagating waves are ubiquitous in the central nervous system and are represented in both natural and pathological neurobiological phenomena. In this study we find travelling wave solutions for a neural field model dually constrained by local neural interactions and a cortical topography that implies a ring topology for the neural network.
