Why Embedded Tutors Matter to First-Year Students’ Multimodal Composing Practices

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

Drawing attention to the writing process, first-year composition instructors often assign multimodal projects to students because they emphasize the rhetorical choices writers make. Since embedded tutors have been shown to reinforce this process, they can play an important role in helping students create multimodal projects.
